A few years ago, I replaced all of the coolant hoses, thermostat, header tank, cap, etc on this NSX and the owner now wanted to have the Type-R tank cover.

So, placed an order to Japan….
Don’t even ask how much it will cost for just this thin rubber parts….

You will need to remove all of the fixing bolts, cap, upper hose & tube to install it on the header tank but not a difficult DIY job.

Although the header tank still looked like new, checked for any sign of cracks or leakage before the installation.


Applied thin coat of engine room dressing that is safe on the rubber and plastic prior to the installation.
