Pre-assembling the new frame.

Using this jig, the chassis alignment can be achieved within 1mm offset.

The new front frame and the remaining chassis perfectly aligns.

At the NSX factory, it was using special spot welding for the assembly.

However, at this place, they were using the semi-auto MIG welding resulting in even higher rigidity than using the spot type.



Due to the aluminium material, it requires special technique to weld it without making any warp/strain.


If anyone knows this kind of factory in UK, please let me know as it would be one of the key factor for the future of our NSX ...
