Honda Type-2 coolant. Inside the container, it’s blue.
Vacuum leak check carried out and left it under vacuum for 30min.
Not a tiny movement so started the vacuum fill process.

Obviously, vacuum leak check can only be done while the engine is cold.
When this NSX arrived at my place for the Health Check service, there was not enough pressure held in the cooling system due to unusual crack at the header tank.
Although the owner never experienced the overheating phenomenon, I’ll carry out engine block test later to be 100% sure.

Warming up the engine to pressurise the system.
Compared to last week, it got quite chilly so took a while to warm it up.
The owner told me that the thermostat was fine so hope that is still the case.

In order to clear the TCS error code, I removed the 7.5A Clock fuse so the ECU needs to re-learn the idle conditions. I’ll do it later.

Ran out of the time for the day so the test driving session will be carried out tomorrow and the final coolant level will be adjusted after that.

Now the summer is over, I’m happy to test driving it with 32degC CCU setting.
Not fun driving under the direct sun light with that setup….

Needs to think about when and how to remove the Front valve cover to fix the gap against the Front Mid TB cover.
Once removed, I won’t be able to start the engine for a while until the liquid gasket cures itself yet I want to wash the car when it is not raining outside….

More to follow.
