If you are thinking of using aftermarket wiper blade, think twice.

Quite often, I saw owners using aftermarket standard or even aero blades on NSX.

Most of them are not designed with the clearance requirement for our NSX.

If you are using it, you better check the clearance at your wiper arm and the back of the bonnet.

Most of you will see the scratch mark on both the wiper arm and the bonnet.

Your precious aluminium and the paint.....

On several occasions, I noticed that the battery GND cable was installed like this or close to this orientation.

This will put quite a lot of stress on the crimped cable end at both the battery terminal side and the chassis GND point.

This will result in GND cable damage eventually.

Also, people tends to tighten the GND battery terminal too much resulting in loose connection.

The cable itself is not that expensive so if you have any doubt, best to replace it before the winter comes….

Another popular issue of our NSX.

The famous leaking CL master cyl.

This NSX had light tan interior colour so took the photo for the owner and wiped it off as it was already dripping on the nice colour carpet……

Time to replace CL master/slave/hose as a set.

As reported earlier this week, this NSX also had the brake fluid over flow from the ABS.

Again, the accumulator would be full of aerated brake fluid.

It is important to flush the system ideally once a year to keep it healthy.

As seen on many NSX, the inner joint of the right drive shaft was starting to leak the grease.

In fact, the owner actually asked me to check it while we were carrying out the Q&A session because he noticed some clicking noise.

So far, almost all of the NSX that I looked at never had their brake callipers overhauled.

This one was the same and inevitably, the brake performance was so so.

It would be nice if you can overhaul your calliper at least every 3 years for street driving.

Again, front tyres were 7yrs old but the owner was already planning to replace them so hope it will be done very soon.

I need to finish lots of Health Check Report but for now, I’m done for the week.

Needs to wake up early in the morning for the Korean GP…..

Next week, another 6 NSX to be checked…..
Busy days.....
