Alignment Service 01

As a standard procedure, before visiting the alignment platform, I would like to remove the adjuster bolts and nuts to confirm that they are not seized to the bush sleeve as well as to apply silicone grease.
Some of the adjusters were really tight and seized….
The camber adjuster bolt was already showing the sign of oxidation/corrosion but still not seized yet so glad to be able to apply the silicone grease at this stage.
The front toe adjuster at the tierod end was really rusty.
I’ll soak them with the penetrating oil over night.
Unfortunately, this means that I can’t book the alignment platform within the desired window so I’m afraid, it has to be next week.
Time to carry out test driving session very soon.
Just need to refurbish all three Bose speaker AMPs and carry out the annual Health Check service.
More to follow.
