Time for another vacuum leak check and then fill the engine with Honda Type-2 Coolant.

Left it under vacuum for 45min and happy with it so started to fill the system.

This is 3.0L NA1 engine so it will take a little bit more than the 3.2L NA2 model.

Even with the long and somewhat complicated water passage, you should be able to pour about 15.5L of coolant without making any mess using this method.

Double check at the bleeder plugs and fire up the engine.

Warm it up to normal operating temperature and blip the engine a few times to push out any remaining bubbles back to the header tank.

Nice and smooth idle rpm so can't wait to carry out the compression check later.

Let the engine to cool down and you should be able to pour all of the remaining coolant into the header tank resulting in about total of 16.5L of coolant in the system for NA1.

While waiting for the engine to cool down, started preparing for the compression check as well as cleaning of the TH butterfly.

For some reason, my almost new can of TH body cleaner spray got emptied on the shelf....

Time for shopping tomorrow…

Decided to work on the other A/C CCU board because of this.

More to follow.
