When the owner left the car at my place, he wanted me to have a look at the A/C issue as well.

He had some A/C system service recently as there was no gas left inside the system.

It seems that some of the A/C parts and possibly a certain pipe were replaced together with the re-charge of the A/C gas with green dye.

However, the owner told me that after a few weeks, there was no more cold air coming out from the vent and when we looked at the inspection window at the A/C receiver tank, there was almost no gas flowing.

So, while the car was on the lift, had a quick look around and it was easy to find the reason.

One of the pipe had cut/pin hole as it can move under vibration and hitting nearby sharp metal edge.

It is the one at the front right side under the ABS modulator.

This pipe looked very clean and the OEM one will have black foam protective sleeve so possibly replaced at the time of A/C service??

This NSX has EPS so replacing some of the pipes requires the removal of EPS rack.

As the system is filled with the green dye, it is a good way to show the leakage so I’m not going to wipe this leakage mark off so that the owner can take it back to the A/C service place in case the pipe was replaced by them.
