Air Con CCU Board Service 01

Rate this Entry

This is not the first NSX for this owner so based on his previous experience, he wanted to have his CCU board serviced even though he is not having any issues at the moment.

Very good idea.

So, started to remove the centre concole.

This NSX is equipped with an aftermarket Navi system with Navpod.

I’m afraid, not impressed with the installation.

Had to spend extra time due to so many wires not properly installed and preventing the removal of centre console without causing scratches to other area.

Some of the cables were trapped behind the Navi display, already the protective layer of some of the wires were cut through and so on.

At the end, decided to keep the centre console inside the cabin as it would take more time to take it out completely.

Pointed out to the owner when he delivered his NSX to my place that the right side of the Navpod was not sitting properly to the centre console.

As expected, the retainer spring was already missing and left side was not secured as well.

Some sort of cables were coming out of the ashtray area making the task even worse.

Probably, one of the most dirty cabin temperature sensor that I have ever seen….

May be yours are not far from this???

The owner was getting lots of noise from this sensor so it will be thoroughly cleaned.

Will look into the CCU board later.
