Before removing the blower fan, I had to remove the drain pipe attached nearby and it was full of leaves, debris, etc.

Also, the cabin air temperature was full of unpleasant dust so I was expecting more or less some dirty condition at the A/C evaporator.

But, it was beyond my expectation and it looked like this.....

I normally wash my A/C Evaporator once a year and also I have DIY made air filter attached to the top of the blower motor to prevent debris from entering the inlet.

Looks like this one was never cleaned for nearly 20 years....

Possibly the same on yours ???

The surface was almost completely blocked with lots of dog/cat like hair with lots of leaves at the bottom.

As I can’t leave it like this, contacted the owner so that I can work on it.

Good thing is that unlike other NSX, this evaporator was very dry that I can probably use vacuum cleaner to remove most of the debris from there.

Will come back to this later.
