Another year, another MOT

Not a great start for Japan with huge earthquake and strange accident at the Haneda airport.

I actually flew to/from that airport last month.

And so many houses were flooded in UK.

I’m quite sure people will bounce back.

No spare time available recently so couldn’t book earlier but just passed the MOT.

Into the 30th year, things can happen any time and for some reason, it's always just before the important event.

The R-side power window made scary noise as if the window regulator wire got tangled up.

Disabled it by removing the fuse and fortunately, not a must requirement for the MOT.

And just now, the washer motor gave up.

Not ideal when driving through the salt gritted road.

Until the replacement arrives, may try opening it to temporarily repair it.

On the other hand, both survived for 30 years with more than 170K miles so not bad at all.

Let's see what challenge awaits for this year.
