[ Don't know exactly when the site stopped working but thank you to forumadmin - Kevin for the swift repair. ]

I love GT racing and normally, I would be visiting Brands Hatch for the GT World Challenge Europe during the bank holiday weekend.
However, this year, the race calendar is all over the place so missed it.

Still, nice family day out with relaxed atmosphere of Silverstone 500 - British GT Championship was happening.
And the organiser always invites us for their Supercar Sunday meeting so time to prepare my NSX.

Have been using and happy with the products from Meguiar's for many years.
Been using their Ceramic Wax and Detailer for quite some time now.

I'm not a professional detailer and don't have all the time polishing the car so reasonably quick and easy application from the consumer range suits me.

With the Meguiar's Ceramic Wax, have to admit that I don't follow their instruction of wet application that is to apply on the wet surface, spread and rinse off with the pressure washer for some of the panels.

Instead, I actually apply it dry for the horizontal panels and only use the wet application on the vertical ones.

Although it's safe to do so, after some trials, I prefer not to apply it on the glass simply because I felt it could cause squeaking noise on the already worn and tired wiper blade.
Still, the wet application is so handy for hard to reach areas.

On this occasion, for the first time, I used the Graphene based product as it seems to be very popular among the youtubers.

So, decided to use this one - 303 Graphene Nano Spray Coating.

For years, have been happy with their 303 Aerospace Protectant spray around the engine bay, dashboard, etc but never knew they started variety of automotive products.

It claims that it can be used even on the windscreen, plastic, rubber trim, etc.
Another great benefit is that there is no cure time required.
Also, fine to use under the sun or even on warm panel.

Whenever using new products, I always prepared the surface using the classic clay bar or nowadays, the synthetic one so I did the same this time.
Though, the 303 states that it was not necessary.

As there were some negative reviews on this 303 Graphene Nano Spray Coating such as leaving smear marks especially on the black and dark colour panels, decided to try it first on the rear hatch glass.

Again, just ran the synthetic clay bar on the glass, wash and dried completely the glass before applying this 303 product.

Compared to other coating products, I would say it will require bit of extra muscle to remove it.
It's not like 'wax on, wax off' kind of ease.
Bit more elbow grease required.

It will help if you use extra clean microfiber cloth.
However, the result was really smooth and seemed to be better suited for the glass than the Meguiar's one.

So, based on this trial on the rear hatch glass, decided to try it over the entire body including the front windshield.

Snow foam pre-wash and at this point, already noticed the significant difference on the rear hatch glass that was treated with the 303 Graphene compared to other areas.

Same preparation for the body panels and the rest of the glass by gently using the synthetic clay bar.

The previous coating of Meguiar's was still left there partially and not completely removed and thus, I don't know the effect on the end result in short and long term.

I also applied this 303 Graphene Nano on the alloy wheels to see how easily I can remove the brake dust when washed.

Small amount goes long way.
I would say just 2 sprays on the micorfibre pad is enough for one big panel.
1 spray for the smaller one.

As the instruction states, you'll need to make it haze/dry (but not completely dry) before wiping it off.
And I think this is where the negative review came from for the smear markings.

If you try wiping it off while it's still not dry enough, you are spreading part of the coating further while at the same time wiping off the dried out sections resulting in uneven coating.

For me, I didn't have any problem with my black roof but have to admit, it required extra elbow for wiping off once the microfiber cloth started getting used.

Thus, it will help a lot by replacing the microfiber cloth with a new one once it gets harder to wipe off.

I had to drive the car in the thunderstorm just after about 30min of applying this coating.
Quite impressed with the level of water beading and most importantly, how the rain blown away from windshield once enough car speed achieved.

And once the rain stopped, briefly washed the car and again, fairly impressed with how easily the dirt came off.

I applied it at the beginning of May and so far, driven the car in the thunderstorm, wet road surface after raining, parked under strong UV ray, etc and washed the car 3 times since the first application.

So, only just about 1 month that I can't comment on the durability but so far, I would say, it's very easy to clean the car, possibly better than the Meguiar's.

Even with just the pre-wash snow foam, it looks as if the car doesn't need the main wash.

The brake dust easily washed off from the wheels by the pressure washer so good protection there.

I didn't carry out side by side comparison so it's just my visual impression but with the Meguiar's Ceramic coating (though it's not actually ceramic…), it looked bit more of wet gloss finish compared to the 303 Graphene.

Meguiar's is like achieving the effect of polishing and the coating in 1 step.

On the other hand, the finish of 303 Graphene Nano Spray Coating looked high glossy coating on top of existing surface.

So for now, I'll keep using the 303 mainly for the body panels and the Meguiar's at the lower bumper, bottom section of the body panels and see how it goes.

Couldn't find good photo showing the real finish but hope you can get some idea.
These were from the Supercar Sunday - Silverstone 500 and the Supercar Fest at Sywell Aerodrome recently.

I'll create another blog for these events later.
It's Monaco time so kind of busy all week.

Nice shiny alloy wheel.

The reflection at the roof was after the 3rd wash.

So, if you are happy to spend bit of extra effort for wiping off the product and looking for the ease of keeping the car clean, give it a try.

As a side note, applied my favourite leather treatment and replaced the wiper blade during the 1st 303 Graphene application.
