Thank you to user 'wixer' for posting the information in his build thread here;

Recently, I had the opportunity to place the order for several A/C parts and one of them was indeed the CL/pulley/field coil set of 4Seasons #47598.

This is what you will get.

Made in Korea so should be high quality.

The pulley with thin layer of the friction material.

The pressure plate with the rubber damper at the other side.

The palte is splined and directly connected to the compressor rotor.

The A/C pulley is always spinning via A/C belt driven by the crank pulley whenever the engine is running.

When the field coil is energised to create the magnetic field, the rubber damper on the pressure plate flexes and allows this metal surface to bite into the friction material on the pulley.

Since the pressure plate is directly engaged with the compressor rotor, this action will start compressing the refrigerant and A/C is now engaged.

The field coil.

Unless you melted the resin/composite body of the existing coil, you should consider re-using it instead of this.

The new one from 4Seasons has wrong connector and on top of this, the cable length is way too short so you will be forced to extend it and source the correct connector.

Therefore, just re-use the existing field coil if it's healthy and not melted or use the new coil but extend the cable using the eisting one.

The snap ring, the spacers and the centre bolt.

Not tried them yet but for the smaller snap ring holding the pulley in place, I prefer the OEM 'waved' design than this aftermarket one.

The new centre bolt doesn't have the thread lock on it so apply small amount before installation.

The bearing is from NSK so one of the best on the market addition to the NTN.
