Audio Head Unit (Acura) service 03

The leaked acid penetrated through the through holes and reached to the back side of the circuit board.

Quite severe damage but fortunately, it didn't take out other components.

For the middle board, as I didn't have spare modules in stock and without replacing them, won't be able to restore the power that decided to swap the entire board for now.

The only downside was the different spec of the connector for the cassette tape module.

The existing white one has much longer terminal length than the brown replacement.

After some measurements, the brown one had enough length to make full contact against the mating connector.

Thus, fine to be used with the cassette module with the white connector so replaced the middle board.

After replacing the middle board and the flex cable circuit, replaced only the minimum number of capacitors.

Before going any further, confirmed that at least I was able to recover the power to the unit.

If the signal condition is good, I will service the display module as well.
