As announced in April, Honda is really pushing the automotive products to be 100% EV and FCV by 2040 so no surprise with this announcement.

2022 will be the final year for the NC1.

And introducing the NSX Type S with limited production of 350 units worldwide.
Will be introduced on the 12th.

Couldn't find anything on Honda UK site but in Japan, it will be allocated with 30 of them.

Info on Acura website: https://www.acura.com/type-s

In Japanese but bit more info; https://www.honda.co.jp/news/2021/4210803.html

For someone worked under Soichiro-san, quite sad hearing that Honda that is famous for its engine won't be producing any combustion engines in the future.
I kind of support the vision of Mr Toyoda of Toyota Motor Corporation for the future direction.

Hope we'll see something special with Type S and future of the real sports car.

350 total, 50 in the rest of the world. If 30 in Japan then maybe the other 20 in Asia. Europe won't get a single unit I think.
Finally, the pain has an end...

I think 30 sales in Japan is optimistic given the poor sales in the past 5 years...
