During the alternator investigation, it also triggered the 'BRAKE LAMP' warning.

The gauge was already refurbished earlier during this service so I knew it was something else.

Interestingly, it was caused by one of the brake lightbulb.

The bulb terminal was squashed/flattened causing intermittent connection to the socket.

If I tap around the taillight lens, the brake light will switch on as well as off randomly.

Because of the prolonged application of the brake light, I thought it melted the terminal but that should not happen because it would be the same just like sitting in the traffic.

Replaced the bulb with my known good quality used bulb and no more issues.

Asked the owner to replace all brake light bulbs with the ones from Philips or Osram in the near future as when one bulb dies, most likely the rest to follow.

Another quick detailing and finally, ready to be collected by the owner.

Later, received really good feedback.

Thank you for using my service and looking forward to meeting you and your NSX again when we can finally get back to some sort of normality.

Regards,
Kaz
