The usual vacuum leak check followed by the vacuum fill of Type 2 coolant.




Even with this vacuum method, l always run at least 1L of coolant from each bleeder port to get rid of small air pockets.

Probably not required but kept doing it for years so no point in changing now.








New fuel filter











As the engine was not cranked for weeks, removed the spark plugs and disabled the INJ in preparation for the hand cranking of the engine.

Just hand crank it like 100 times.

Followed by the starter cranking but without the spark plugs or the INJ.

Probably overcautious especially for around this time of the year but again, my standard procedure for years so no point in changing it now.







Preparation for the fireup.
