I know several owners are using similar kill switch at the battery but I'm not fan on this one.

Already seen exactly the same issue on almost all of them.

Not sure it gets loose while in use or oxidised while in 'Off' mode during the car is in storage but basically, you would see black fretting marking
as well as white oxidised powder where it should make really good contact.

The contact itself is not large enough for the purpose.

Thus, this NSX arrived with multiple battery and charging issue.

The owner told me that he had trouble starting the car if parked for a few days without the battery conditioner connected.

I decided not to carry out the compression check due to weak cranking speed.

Replaced the battery and the GND cable, no more kill switch and massive difference in cranking speed.

Speaking of the new battery, got another Yuasa YBX5000.

Not sure how long it will be sold under the Yuasa brand instead of GS.

Once again, ordered through Tayna battery.

Since 2019, the design has changed and slight improvement on the performance.

The status check indicator is now re-located at the back so not much use on the NSX with the blower fan box hiding it.

As mentioned many times, please do not overtighten the battery terminal.

There is no need and tightening further will simply chew into the terminal post and result in even loose fitting.
