The car sat inside my garage for over 5 months and no one visited my place so if any virus, that will be from me.

The car will be washed and the cabin disinfected before returning to the owner but as a pre-caution, worn face mask while removing the door cards, etc.

It is my own policy not to stay inside the cabin unless the car sat in the garage long-long time with all doors/windows opened or
blower fan kept running in fresh mode for hours so I'm afraid, no services involving the long cabin access time for now.













Another NSX with poor splash proof sheetÂ….. Torn everywhere.

Not worth replacing at this stage as the door window already making rattling noise so at some point, window refresh is in order and that's when this should be dealt with.















The EPS controller.

For this spec of NSX, it left the factory with previous version so someone replaced it in the past.

Unfortunately, even the ver.-305 would fail eventually.

No EPS warning light just yet but going to service it as a preventative measure.




And around this time, I injured my fingers.

Not while servicing the NSX but while opening the tuna can…..

Cut through very deep and under current virus situation, I really didn't want visiting the hospital but no other option but to make emergency visit to the urgent care centre.

Even after more than a month, still can't feel anything and the skin just peel off every day but that's good sign as my body is just trying to produce fresh new cell.

The nerve system can only grow like 1mm per day so will take few months to re-connect and not sure how well it will connect but hope I'll get some level of sense/feeling back.

At least, I didn't lose my finger, lol.



Fortunately, already finished the test driving session and mechanical service but at the end, I was not able to work on the NSX for 3 - 4 weeks.

Lost so much muscle from my hand so couldn't even open a jar lid.

Also, couldn't turn the NSX-R steering wheel on my NSX without the EPS assist so couldn't even move the car out of the garage.

I never thought I would love to have EPS on my NSX as I missed driving it for such a long time.






















Fortunately, it was time to focus on the electronics components around that time so dealt with them using the rest of the healthy fingers.
