When replacing the coolant hose, always check the bottom side of the pipe especially at the heater core pipes under the bonnet and the water passage big diameter ones inside the Eng bay.

Either you will see heavy corrosion or residue of old rubber hose materials. Must be cleaned first before installation.

Coolant was seeping slowly at the thermostat housing.

Someone was very keen removing the coolant hoses in the past….

Wrong position for the rubber shield at the front mount.
Should be on the header/manifold side.

The oil cooler and this is what caused the big delay this time.
No way I can let this NSX returned to the owner without first replacing it.

Already one owner nearly lost his engine due to punctured oil cooler and another owner was fortunate enough to have tiny oil seepage spotted while his NSX was at my place.

There are many NSX with heavily rusted oil cooler so please keep eye on it.
During Eng Refresh, I tend to massage in high temperature spec grease including mine.

This is how bad the oil cooler was.

The wire was stretched and the protection boot was gone.
No spare so when new oil cooler and the sensor arrive, I'll coat it with silicone compound.

Also, oil pan had noticeable dent although for the driving style of this owner and the driving environment, I'll leave it for now.
