Another one of the most common parts missing from your early model NSX.

It’s the rubber protector located at the boot lid hinge.


Without this, the forward section of your boot lid alignment would be lower than the side wing.


On the later model, the design of the ‘hook’ was changed so that the rubber protector won’t be easily dislocated but on the earlier models, it will simply come off and probably gone missing by now….


Quite often, you can find it in the drain channel in front of the hinge.

Installed it with the liquid gasket to hold it in place.
