At least, the cam timing was correct so that was a good news.

For some reason, specific to this year model, Honda or the parts manufacture made mistake in marking the rear exh cam pulley.

The outer marking is at the correct position but the inner one is about 180deg out of phase and can't be used…..

In the 1st photo, the outer marking is pointing towards the crank shaft meaning that the inner marking should be hidden by the back cover plate.

However, as in the 2nd photo, you can clearly see it on here so that's wrong and out of phase.

Will rely on the outer marking for this year model.

Was trying to show the rust on the CL basket/pressure plate but out of focus….

Release bearing was bit notchy so probably the surface of the release guide is getting rusty.

Another NSX with very rusty TB tension adjuster bolt.

Struggled a bit to loosen it but the nut extractor to the rescue.

So much grease splashed so probably never replaced in the past???

Would be interesting to see the back side.
