Wow, the winner is…..

First time seeing such enormous amount of liquid gasket and used inside the engine….

Again, no idea why because it's inside the engine blocking one of the oil passage….

Later, after removing the cam shaft, inspected the area and glad to report that no damages were done to the journal as well to the cam cap.

The size/thickness/amount of the liquid gasket.

It's like the size of 10mm short socket....


I just hope whoever applied it waited long enough that all of the liquid gasket cured/hardened before getting in contact with the eng oil.

Otherwise, piece of liquid gasket may have fallen somewhere inside the engine.

Still, the risk/damage would be very low as it will first drop to the oil pan and then will be trapped at the meshed strainer at the pan followed by the oil filter.

Glad we opened the engine now before it completely came off from where it sits at the moment.











Speaking of liquid gasket....

Later, after removing the cam shafts, found all sorts such as orange, green, white and possibly black..... You name it.....
