Again, reminder to the owner.

Please replace both disc and pad as a set at some point in the near future.





There is no guarantee that no one touched the pushrod clearance adjustment so one must check it before installing the new master cyl.
This is regardless of using OEM or aftermarket master cyl.

Some aftermarket master cyl are well out of spec and the clearance must be adjusted.















Once checked, time to bench bleed the master cyl.

With ABS, the piston valves are located at the centre of each piston so you must bench bleed it really well if you want saving your time and fluid.

Impossible to do this after installing it on the car unless you can create nearly true vacuum condition, just like on the production car assembly line.

And installed back on the car with 1st round of pressure bleeding.





Will carry out the 2nd round the following day.


Forgot about flushing the ABS.....

Must finish the cabin in preparation for the MOT….
