And the injectors are now back with me.

Although the shop replaced the o-ring, etc, I don't want taking any risks so it is my policy to use the OEM o-ring, etc so replaced them again.

The shop now replaces the filter basket to the widely used metal insert universal one so that's good.
They used to just back flush the old one and re-use it (not a problem for this type).

Set all of the clean INJ on the fuel rail first and then install the fuel rail/INJ assy later to prevent any damages to the o-ring, lower sealing gasket, etc.
Align the position marker then secure the fuel rail fixing nut and paint lock.

When the connector is new or clean, it should look like this.

Unfortunately, that eyesore coating is even on the connector body….
Wiped but can't do much….

Started the Eng Loom installation and it is my standard procedure to check the connector terminal.
Time consuming but you don't want CEL or intermittent connection later.

At the front VTEC solenoid, noticed the famous green patina corrosion at the female terminal.
If it gets worse, it will break the spring loaded section and cause intermittent connection.
Already happened at the connectors inside the boot and behind the door card.

This is WPC type connector but quite often, this can happen if someone steam washed the eng bay during service or used high pressure flow, some chemical, etc.
Consider it more like splash proof, please.

As a precaution, used mating male 090 terminal and confirmed that there is no problem at this stage so not going to replace the terminal.
