After passing the oil stone, degreased and ready for the new composite gasket installation.

To evenly compress the gasket, always replace the metal washers.

Before the installation of the intake manifold, I just couldn't stand the eyesore appearance.

As reported earlier, some sort of coating applied everywhere and baked together with dust, debris, etc…..

With valve covers looking so nice, although part of the intake manifold will be hidden, decided to spend some time polishing it.

Better now.

Though, can't do anything on the fuel hose so going to leave it like this and don't want any debris getting inside the fuel rail so just a gentle polish only for the metal section.

Normally, you should be able to see some text on the rubber hose.

EGR pipe secured with new gasket.

EGR valve operating smoothly and although old data, passing the emission test so not going to clean it.

Before/After

The ignitor module was also covered in eyesore coating.
It's electrical parts so didn't want taking any risk so just gentle detailing polish used and going to leave it like this.
