Probably seen this like 100 times but once again, the importance of triple checking the timing.




This engine arrived with rear exh cam at wrong timing and already seen the same mistake on many NSX engines.
















Hand cranked the engine like 100 times as the engine was parked for weeks.

And after checking, checking and checking the timing plus happy with the TB tension, time to install the TB lower cover plus the front and rear mid covers.

Honda changed the clearance against the cam pulleys on the front and rear mid covers so if your engine has the old spec, best replacing with the later design.
Prevents the scratching and squeaking noise when the engine is cold.







Dust seal around the TB tensioner bolt installed. Probably missing on your engine.
