Had to focus on other projects so not much time spent on this NSX for the day….

After thoroughly cleaning the cam shaft and the journal, started to apply the fresh oil to establish initial lubrication.

Once the cam shaft and the TB are installed, I normally rotate the engine by hand for several minutes so fresh and clean oil is important at this stage.

Just push it down several times to feel for the smooth movement.

Won’t be replaced for this service.

New O-ring at the dowel pin under the #1 cam holder.

Very important for the oil circulation.



Front cam shaft installed.

Moving onto the rear side tomorrow.
