ABS Upgrade (non-NSX), Health Check 09

Rate this Entry

No longer suffering from the seized parts so from here, should be quick.

Preparation for the installation.

The modulator is the used AP1 S2000 one so doesn't look fresh but at least, the electronics side was tested using my NSX so happy to use it.

And 99% done with the brake hard lines.

Such a short sentence for some delicate tasks….

You don't want bending the lines considering the pipe alignment later for safety and reliability reason and thus, pipe installation takes quite some time.

The brake pipe fittings are only finger tightened and not even fixing the PV bracket yet as I must triple check the alignment of each pipes.

You don't want any part of the pipes touching each other or the body panel as thermal expansion and vibration could puncture the pipe in longer term.

Still, already looking fairly good alignment of the pipes.

Will install modified ABS Upgrade loom for AP1 S2000 application and temporarily power up the car to check the ABS light logic although already tested using my NSX.

Will keep pushing over this weekend to minimise the delay.
