Over the years, the owner got multiple O2 sensor failure code so before arriving at my place, tried replacing all four sensors.

Unfortunately, the one causing the latest CEL (Rear bank Secondary O2 sensor heater circuit) was seized so he couldn't replace it.
Not easy to see in this photo but the HEX section is already partially rounded.

Will apply heat and see what I can do as it would be much easier with the eng out of the bay.

Later, I found that the sensor sleeve looked bit strange and kind of flaky so exposed the wires and found this.

It is possible that it was damaged when someone tried replacing the sensor or already damaged before that but also, I found similar chewing markings around the car.

The owner knew there was little friend inside his garage.......

I hope it didn't short the ECU O2 sensor circuit as I know at least one owner fried the sensor circuit in the past when his O2 sensor connector got melted after the header installation.

Nice seeing these aftermarket fitting and hose being used to repair the HVAC system.

Didn't bother measuring the pressure as there were so much bubbles at the sight glass in this fairly mild weather. Low on the refrigerant.

Hope I can break the bolt with ease.....

For this NSX, the owner bought the sensors by himself and tried replaced all four sensors before taking the car to me.

    OEM sensor is from Denso.

The owner brought the OE indentical aftermarket Denso ones. Good sensor.
I normally use NTK one and I have been using it on many NSX including mine.

Due to its characteristic, there are some deviation in output signal for each sensor but being as narrow band, the effect is not that huge.
Still, the OEM one is 'selected' against the specific characteristic window and hence, the high price.
