Over the last few weeks, servicing one NSX with emergency service for the cooling system, brake, etc.

This is another NSX that I never serviced in the past but even before looking at the car,
I already knew the cooling system would be in danger based on the service history so far.

Originally, this service didn't include any major engine services but after Health Check and Test driving session,
it was clear that something was not correct so wanted to get all the data first before updating the blog.

Once again, the header tank was already turned into solid white/yellow colour that for most of the owners,
it would be difficult to check the coolant level unless one has small LED light that can be inserted behind the coolant tank.

Couldn't see anything with the LED light at the back so waited for the engine to cool down so that the cap can be removed and found this….

The level was almost empty.

After some inspection around the tank, it was quite obvious that it leaked from the usual places where
multiple cracks would start with age, bad batch of tank, stress after installation, etc or due to how it was installed.

Later, after topping up and bleeding the system, saw the coolant dripping from this section when the system was pressurised so it can't even hold good pressure.

Before topping up the system, checked how much air was trapped and fortunately, there was nothing at the radiator top tank and only tiny amount at the heater core.

None-the-less, must carry out eng block test before driving.

And while topping up and bleeding the air from the cooling system, noticed that the hose under the tank was already in strange shape.

Felt it with my finger and confirmed that the fibre layer was already partially broken allowing the hose to swell.

It will burst very soon.

Fortunately or unfortunately, due to the crack at the tank, it couldn't hold the high pressure and thus,
the owner manged to drive all the way to my place without killing the hose.

I need to limit the distance and mode of the test driving session before replacing this hose.
