Emergency service as the owner was stranded on the way to a long journey.

Also, big question mark on the coolant hose and the radiator as they are still the original ones.

After helping the road rescue person over the phone, managed to re-start the engine, the owner completed his journey and brought the car to me.

One of the cause of the issue, the fuel pump resistor.

Some of the wires were already broken causing intermittent connection. Moisture entered under the sleeve, high current resulting in chemical reaction and hardened part of the entire wire length solid but not as bad as others.

Another cause of the issue, both female terminals on the eng loom side were partially damaged and when checked with the male terminal, both were very loose.

Intermittent and loose connection resulded in melted sleeve on the male terminal side.

Probably someone pushed in the paper clip or something to jumpt the fuel pump resistor in the past.

Glad that I still have access to the connectors used on our NSX.

New terminal, sealing plug, retainer and connector installed.

As the cable length got bit shorter, modified the cable holder position slightly.

Just keep the cable exit straight.
