The poor right drive shaft...


Someone tried to fix the grease leakage without removing the seized joint from the hub.

This boot band is not the one from the factory nor the one in the OEM service kit.


Some sort of aftermarket one was used and probably installed it while the drive shaft was on the car.

The band was not tight enough or not installed properly and thus, dislocated itself and no longer holding part of the boot....


Even more grease to be splashed…


Already spent 1.5Hr just for cleaning the area and still haven’t finished yet…


Will check the condition of the internal parts later.


Just hope they are not smashed yet…
