For now, I'll just run the extension cable somewhere around the left side of the centre arm rest.


With this arrangement, the owner can access the GROM box for testing purpose without the use of the tool as it only needs the removal of the rear upper trim.

Once decided on the optional features, then he/she can decide on the permanent installation solution.



First, I must refurbish the OEM head unit.... Worried about the capacitor leakage.....



















Although drive shaft spindle nut already removed, while the upright is steady, drilled out the seared off bolts from the past.

Pre-installed the bolts and acheived the specified torque so success.






















The owner already has new Main Relay in the boot but wanted me re-solder the existing one and re-install it instead of using the new one.

Looking at the relay parts model year, the existing one is the original one from the factory and in fact, it was partially re-soldered in the past but not quite.



















Re-soldered all the joints and quick coating applied.
