Going to replace the brake master cyl and while the owner brought aftermarket one, as reported recently,
I won't be able to use it without adjusting the pushrod clearance so decision was made and we are going to instaall the OEM one.

The rust reached well beyond the dust boot and completely corroded the boot seating groove.

The rust was so severe that I couldn't even remove the old boot because the rust chewed into it and didn't want let go.

I had to cut it into bits and pieces to remove it....

I must clean it first and inspect it carefully because I'm not sure I can install the fresh boot in the heavily corroded recess/groove on these calipers....

Also, when I tried to push out the pistons from the front caliper as well as rotating it from the rear one, for the first time,
I though I'm going to break my finger…..

It was that tight.
