Other finidings…..

The owner had the Left drive shaft replaced with the aftermarket one.

At that time, looked like the upper ball joint was separated.
Nothing wrong and just an observation....

However, question mark on the spec of the inboard joint of the aftermarket drive shaft.

With the outboard joint locked and even the DF inside the gbox not moving at all, I can rotate the inboard joint housing a little, like several degree.....

Not sure this is within the design spec of this joint because I'm quite sure it's using the ball bearing coupling (forgot that complicated wording for this type of joint) and
not the roller type used on the OEM to save the cost.

At least, it's not making huge clicking noise and seems to be handling the reverse torque under deceleration or hard braking so
probably not an issue but just need to keep it in mind.

One day, would love to see inside of this joint to inspect how much gap has to be filled with the grease.

As a reference, I installed similar aftermarket (possibly the same but from different batch before the manufacture name changed) driveshaft on a few NSX and none of them had this kind of rattle so not sure it's a batch issue or not.

On arrival, there was some sort of metal squeaking noise from lower section of the car.

Thought it was the loose heat shield around the exhaust area but when I as running the engine while the car was on the lift, it sounded more like from around the a/c idle pulley.

However, looking at the pulley itself, as you can see in this photo, looked so fresh so may be the owner has already replaced it???

Compared to other area of the car, that pulley looked too clean and fresh….

Would be nice to get some feedback from the owner.

Very rusty exh section.

The white marking almost looked as if the moisture leaking during warm up but there was no crack or leakage.

RR toe control arm sort of not aligned properly on full droop.

You must replace both rear tyres.

They are already at the limit.

In fact, all four tyres are so old but front ones still have plenty of meat.

Ideally, please consider replacing all four and not just the rear.
