Have been servicing another NSX for about 2 weeks now but several issues found and in order to get all the options to the owner first, decided not to update the blog until today.

This NSX had its radiator and most of the coolant hoses replaced by someone.

After leaving the car overnight, the coolant level was at MIN yet I didn't like how high the coolant level gets when it's fully warmed up.

There was no trace of coolant pushed out from the overflow tube so very unlikely to be head gasket related and more of suspected air left in the system.

By the way, even after parking the car for weeks, there were lots of fluid inside the battery case so
looks like the coolant was splashed during the bleeding process but never washed down.

Also, there were lots of coolant markings inside the eng bay and one of the bleeder was bit loose but not enough to cause any drop in pressure.
Just tiny seepage.

So, bled the air from the front section.

There was not much air left at the radiator.

Couldn't take good photo but as suspected, lots and lots of air at the heater core section.

At some point, please replace the header tank cap.

It's still using the original brass colour cap while the latest one is black.

There are already two cuts on the gasket and just about holding the pressure.

I have new one but the owner can hand carry back the parts by himself or through his colleague and thus,
cheaper than my price.

I'll leave the decision to the owner.

Nothing wrong but noticed that the rad fan shroud was being cut for the installation of the Koyo Racing rad.

If installed in a specific sequence, there is no need to cut the shroud but with such small opening, it won't lose any flow pressure passing through the fin so no problem.

Also, because of the angle of the hose neck welded on the Koyo Rad and where the rib (blue arrow) of the pipe sits, personally,
I don't like the angle of the way the coolant hose was installed as well as the position of the hose band.

Though, with the OEM hose design, it won't come off.
