While having the audio head unit and A/C CCU board serviced, the owner wanted to have iPod adaptor installed but there was already something installed on this NSX.

Very likely to be USA Spec PA11-HON but can't confirm without removing extra interior panels.

Some of the cables were trapped and squashed so not great….

Also, one of the GND cable (OEM, brass colour eyelet) was not secured to the GND point at all.

These bolts are not the OEM one so hope I can find the proper ones.

When I tried removing one of the screw from the CCU, I just couldn't get my tool at the right angle.

No wonder why……

Someone forced another screw on top of the original one….

I'm glad that I manged to take the CCU out of the place without breaking the display module….

Almost no leakage from any of the capacitors.

Saves the time and cost for both the owner and myself.

Good example of acting early enough than waiting for the issue to happen.

Replaced and uprated all of the electrolytic capacitors, conformal coating applied, tested on the bench and done.

Quick repair of the damage caused by two screws in one place……
