Finally, the spindle nut at the left side came off.......

I applied well over 1,000Nm…..

The red colour at the spline (centre of this photo) is the dried rust. This is before applying the Acetone/ATF so still dry.

Howevr, it was much easier to push out the spline on this side compared to the right one.

Still required extra time but nothing like the other side.

I was told that the MTF strainer was cleaned in the past that the strainer cover should come off easily.....
It even looked as if the cover itself was replaced with a new one.

Well.... If only silicone grease or some treatments were done at that time.......

Nothing done and allowed the oxidation to enter inside the bore edge.

On my NSX, I have similar marking as I didn't act quick enough and due to oxidation already chewed inside the bore, I had tiny MTF seepage from there.

Will clean the cover and the internal bore carefully.

Although looked to be fine, didn't like the trace of wet marking at the lower rear end of this trans case seal so will replace it.

The back of the left side bearing….

Rusty but not too bad compared to the Right side.

Again, w/speed sensor head was sort of OK but scratched.

The trigger teeth on this side was fairly clean.

The MTF strainer.

Normally, you would see brass colour tiny particles/powder or tiny metal bits/powder in here.

With this gbox, there were larger metal bits as well as long line of metal pieces as if scraped off from something.

They all react to the magnet.

High rpm mis-shift???

Hope the weather is kind to me when I start painting the joints.....
