Now back to the drive shaft.

I already knew while working on the eng/gbox out of the bay that this is going to be a tough one.
And it is indeed.

Spent extra time trying to loosen the spindle nut at both sides.






















Finally, the right side came off but left side is still completely seized.

I already applied more than 700Nm (spec is 329Nm….) using 1' tools and still nothing…..

Already soaked it in plusgas for more than 2 days by now…..

Switched to Acetone/ATF now so hope it will come off tomorrow.





















Even after removing the spindle nut at the right side, the spline of outboard joint is stuck inside the hub...... Another challenge......

Was expecting this any way as I couldn't apply any releasing agent until now.

Going to leave it until tomorrow before using this heavy duty hub puller.




I need to do some shopping to get some food…..
