New OEM air cleaner element.

For stock C30A with just the header + exh box, there is no power gain by modifying the intake system.

Depending on how and where you measure the pressure, you will see air pressure drop after the TH body even at WOT but it's not causing the flow restriction.

Engine cranked again before the installation of the spark plugs and the moment of truth, fired up.

No CEL so O2 sensors, etc are happy and no other warning lights including the ABS (the owner has upgraded to the latest one body ABS so the failure detection method is different compared to the classic ones), that's always a good sign.

The fast idle air valve was cleaned and filter/gasket replaced so good to see about 1,500rpm of fast idle rpm as per spec.

Up in the air and looked around the bottom side of the car.

So far, no oil leakage from the oil pan gasket area (yet) although I don't know how bad the existing oil pan was deformed.

Please do not tighten the bolts/nuts any further even if you see the seepage.

Extra torque won't stop it and only cause even more seepage.

And fully warmed up.

Good to see the new rectifier working perfectly on the ACG.

The usual stethoscope inspection.
All these long hours just to get this nice eng mechanical sound.

No more random rattling noise from the LMA, etc.

INJ ticking at #5 cyl was little quieter than the rest but it's bench tested before installation and flow checked by Injectortune.

Lifting the #5 IG coil far enough resulted in drop in rpm so probably I'm too sensitive.

TH cable free play adjusted.

Allowed tiny amount of extra play as I don't know the effect of that hard coating all around the linkage.

Will adjust the base idle rpm and coolant level later as my main focus has already shifted to the drive shaft.

Will install the IG coil cover, intake manifold plate, etc after taking the final compression and adjusting the base idle rpm although
the eng already sounded very nice so looking forward to it.

So, the Eng Refresh is pretty much done.
