Started the marathon valve clearance adjustment session over the weekend.

Finished the 2nd round on Saturday.

Normally, I take break on Sunday but the weather and air temperature were so ideal for the task that decided to finish the 3rd round.

Really happy with the result.

The engine is now ready to be closed but I'll leave the valve covers off until after installing the intake manifold.
I don't want scratching the fresh coating.

Torqued the crank pulley bolt to the spec.

Started inspecting the drive shaft.

While I have no problem removing the inboard joint, I think I will have problem with this spindle nut.

Not sure you can see in this photo but both are heavily corroded and rusty seating area.

Unlocked the staked section but I don't think I can apply enough torque safely so probably have to wait until the eng/gbox back in the bay.

More to follow later.
