Old liquid gasket removed from the front cyl head.

No matter what you do, unless you can create oil free clean surface like this,
you will experience oil seepage from around the valve cover and at the black cam cap/disc sitting here.
















You don’t want to know what's inside the V-bank area….

So much debris……















It is my policy that unless 100% required, I won't clean or even touch these two knock sensors.

Not sure why it's using this material but after years of heat cycle, so easy to snap off the green plastic body from the metal base.

And it's not cheap….

Going to leave them as they are even though the sensors and the area around them are dirty.















The famous intake valve guide.

One of the weak point especially on C32B but C30A is not free from failure.

This is at cyl #1 but took photo for all six cyl.

All of them were fine.

They were covered in blowby oil but cleaned to this level.
