TB lower cover was re-used when the crank pulley failed so lots of debris went insideÂ….

Looking at this photo, looks like different shield (lots of big holes on the shield plate) was used in the past.
Currently, the owner is using just plain plate style without any holes on it.
Even with the shield with lots of holes, the dislocated pulley weight managed to cut through the TB lower cover???

I don't know....

I'm not a fan of installing the shield utilizing the TB lower cover bolt any way especially if it was not installed at the time of TB/WP service.

As reported earlier, the front eng mount nut was destroyed by wrong installation.

It even scratched the front cross beam.

And it was not even tightened at all during the last service....

Looks like green colour coolant was in use in the past.

Another rusty hose cramp and not holding the hose properly.....

Going to replace all three of them as I must disconnect these hoses when taking the eng/gbox out of the bay.

I'm not a fan of the design of the hose fitting at this aftermarket CL slave cyl hose .

So many times, I saw it being twistedÂ…..

The design allows the mistake to be made.

There is not much benefit in using braided hose here so personally, I would go back to OEM one next time when replacing CL master/slave/hose as a set.

Not sure why the OEM gasket is still in hereÂ….

One good thing with the exhaust section of this NSX is that the person who installed these aftermarket kits knew the importance of
not to use the same stainless material for both the bolt and the nut.

It was using the stainless bolt at many places but all of the nuts were ordinary ferrous ones so that none of them were seized.

As mentioned many times, please - please never use same stainless group bolt and nut at the area exposed to heat, moisture and vibration.
100% guaranteed to seize and cutting through stainless in limited space is not something you want to do....

For some reason, copper grease was applied everywhere on this NSXÂ….
Not ideal especially at dacro coating area.

Extra time being spent for wiping them off but can't do much at the bolt hole or the hidden mating threadÂ…..
