As reported ealier, the brake master cyl was leaking and prevented me from carrying out the test driving session.

Brake fluid was trapped behind the master cyl base and the area was really wet.
Not sure you can see in this photo but half of the round cyl base was covered in wet brake fluid.

In order to create tight seal for the brake vacuum booster to work, I have no option but to strip off the rust at the base.
Also, in order to prevent the rust chewing back into the new rubber seal, had to clean the booster cover as well.

Once the master cyl is installed, it's kind of hidden but ideally, I would like to spray paint it.
However, it's not something I normally do and I have never painted the booster cover while keeping it on the car for anyone in the past.

The car is so clean that I don't want overspray any part of the red paint or surrounding parts and since never done before,
I don't think I can do it to the level the owner is expecting.
Better ask the owner on what he wants to do.
May be I can paint the bottom side and leave the rest to the owner as he seems to have better spraying technique???

The caliper slider pin at both FR and FL were nearly seized especially at the FL side.
This one even didn't want rotating.

Surprisingly, when I manged to pull it out, several solid particles came out. Normally, you would see orange colour grease in here.
The grease completely dried out or different grease used???

Also, I couldn't push back any of the pistons at the front although probably never serviced so the seal is hardened and not by the piston rust.
In the process of opening the calipers.

On the other hand, the slider pins at both the RR and RL calipers were very smooth with orange grease still there.
Almost looked as if being serviced but not the piston area.

Will see how it goes.......

Snap! Just finished fitting my new brake master cylinder yesterday. My 1991 not quite as clean as yours.
