By the way, on arrival, the posi cable was placed behind the vertical water drain tube/pipe.
This could be the correct position for the later models but I didn't like the way it was touching some of other parts behind.

So, removed the drain tube and placed the cable at the front.
Normally, you would see cable holder tyrap here but can't remember if that was the case on the later models.
It can be placed behind the drain tube very easily as the drain is only held by just one 10mm bolt at the bottom.

4 years ago, I serviced this Bose rear AMP (passenger footwell one) and due to severe leakage, it required several additional components to be removed.
The owner told me that it no longer works.
Turned out, the typical cracked and burnt FET caused by internal failure of Bose IC.

Probably the issue was already there at that time but didn't show up during the final bench testing.
I don't service or warrant the AMP in this failure mode as there is no way I can check the Bose IC status but refunded part of the original cost.

You can still buy the new Rear AMP from Bose Germany so if multiple parts had to be removed,
probably better to replace it instead of refurbishing. I may consider this as part of my future service.

You can also buy the entire speaker box inc. the speaker and the AMP from them but much cheaper if you
source them through Bose USA.
The only thing you need to be aware is that they don't send it outside of USA so you need to find alternative delivery method but
not a problem these days as you can easily hire US street address or you can find someone who can help you.

For now, going to place the footwell speaker box back into the cabin without the AMP to allow me installing the metal plate under the carpet.
Will install the replacement AMP on next visit at free of charge.

ABS reservoir is already exceeding the max line….. Typical phenomenon with leaky solenoid issue.
Best if the owners can exercise it regularly but if not driving their NSX regularly, not possible.

Please flush each solenoids at least once a year if you can't exercise it.

I didn't like the brake pedal feeling so carried out the pedal test and it sunk.

At the bottom of brake booster cover, the area was wet and it was brake fluid so 100% confirmed that it was leaking.
At this point, I decided not to test drive this NSX until I replace the master cyl.
Also, I found that the FL brake caliper slider pin was seized resulting in slight drag.

Some seepage at the oil pan gasket but nothing unusual.

Still, this NSX is so clean......
