Started servicing another NSX and just returned the one that I have been servicing for about 1 month.
And at the same time, helping another garage looking after some of the NSX owners.
It's for the A/C CCU board service.




Being told that the A/C fan only operates when set at max speed setting.
Typical failure mode with our NSX A/C.

By now, I wish all owners would have their board refurbished before the issues show up as it will take extra time and cost once the damages have been done.




It's the light green board with all caps in black so from somewhere around mid-90s'.











And the damages were really severe…..
The acid stayed for so long that something should be shiny copper brown turned into matt black.
I hope these diode arrays, resistor module, Tr, etc are still operational…..















The leads of some of the caps were already dissolved and detached while I was inspecting them.

This is going to be a big task……



















Started the cleaning process.
Fortunately, all of the diode array, resistor module, Tr, resistor, etc were all fine except the near by tracks were completely cut through and gone.
