The A/C CCU board looked to be in serious condition.
Can’t take good photo with this ancient camera so will use better one later.

The light bulbs at the display module were bit burnt out but still fine so for now, I’ll leave them.

The JDM audio head unit.
The owner was using the European spec one until recently but it failed just before bringing his NSX to my place so this one was in use instead.
Still working but without opening it, can’t tell the extent of the damages.

Will install the European spec one that I refurbished recently for now.

I found that the freq. expander is installed at the ICE connector just behind the audio head unit.
Ideally, I would like to have it installed near the aerial motor.

It’s powered through the switched +B terminal so it won’t be live unless the audio head unit is in use so won't cause any issues but
not sure of GND loop effect if it touches any metal object.

Depending on the spec of the freq. expander, not sure of the effect on frequency when used with European spec tuner so
I’ll just bypass it and inert the coax cable straight into the back of the European spec head unit.

Although there was no grease leakage, the L drive shaft inboard joint showed much more damages than the outboard side.

The remaining grease was already broken down and like melted coffee ice cream.

Will carefully check the state of the rollers as the spider already showed extra wear markings.

Similar story at the R drive shaft inboard joint.

Despite no leakage and the grease still showing hint of yellow colour, part of the grease showed dark brown/black colour, almost like rust although may not be easy to see in this photo.

Outboard joint was still fine.
