Torque for each fittings and bolts were checked using small digital torque wrench.

Even for a low mileage and fairly new NSX, some of the bolts and nuts were already corroded and seized.

Quite often, you will see bolt head seared off at the rear brake hose bracket.

On this NSX, as you can see from the amount of the rust, the left side one was already seared off long time ago and it was left unrepaired.

As I knew the weakness of these bolts, soaked the penetrating oil on the other bolt overnight but still managed to sear off the right side one .

Was hoping to extract them using the bolt extractor but they didn’t move at all so had to drill them out.

After using several drill bits, managed to get close to the original diameter and carefully re-thread them and used my spare OEM bolts to keep the OEM look.

Lost quite a lot of time for this but when you look at the result, you can feel the time well spent.

So, Front and Rear callipers were re-installed and moving onto the master cyl.

More to follow.
