After reporting the grease leakage from the left drive shaft outboard joint, the owner decided to include both drive shaft service so
decided to remove the spindle nut before taking the eng/gbox out of the bay.

After bit of struggle, the spindle nut came off.
Probably never remove in the past.
It was tight especially at the left side.

Fortunately, the spline was not heavily corroded so not much trouble sliding the outboard joint out.

The exh nut came off fairly easily at the rear bank CAT.
However, as reported earlier, even with the use of extractor, there was no way I can remove these heavily corroded nuts at the front bank CAT so had to cut them off.

First, had to drill out the corroded fixing bolt/nut at the upper/lower heatshield.

Meanwhile, after removing the capacitors, it was clear that the damages to the audio head unit circuit board was even worse than expected......
One of the track was completely cut through, one of the diode was dead creating short circuit (I hope it didn't kill other components....) and
not sure how far the damages were done to other components…..

This is going to be fun….
