Checking the master cyl clearance against the booster pushrod.

Unlike the factory, I don’t have vacuum fill method for the brake system so very important to bench bleed the master cyl first.
Otherwise, you will spend hours trying to get rid of the tiny bubbles in the system and going to waste lots of fluid.

1st round of pressure bleeding.

After this, the system was kept under pressure for a few hours for leak inspection.

Then, left overnight and carried out the 2nd round of pressure bleeding.
May look exactly the same as the above photo but the date/time stamp is different in owner's photo album.

As always, with new piston and seals, you will get knock off/back feeling at the beginning of the pedal stroke but quite normal and will settle after several 100s miles.

As my standard procedure when re-using the old brake pad, I always set the fluid level just below the base of triangle arrow and not at the max line.

Whoever serviced this NSX in the past must be in love with the copper grease.
It was applied even at the back of wheel, mating surface, etc.
I don’t like excess amount as it could cause wheel vibration.
Removed most of them and installed the wheels.

Quick detailing of the eng bay but has to remove the air box again as I must take the compression first.

Time for ABS flushing but having fun with rusty connector bracket.

Already contacted the owner and to be returned next week.
